Description

IT would be very benificial to have a manual over ride for the time conditions module. A number to dial and be able to over ride in hours or out of hours temparaly untill the next time condition would take over.

I am thinking this would be best done with three fields:

  • override to on or off
  • code for temporary change (turns off next time status switches to off)
  • code for permenant toggle (status off until code is entered again)

The first is just a boolean field to control if it forces to be in 'off' or 'on' mode.

The code is just any dial sequence (probaby *something), and both fields would be optional.

The dialplan logic to do the temporary change thing would be midly complex, but doable.

The proposal on TimeConditionsChange may impact implementation.

  • owner set to gregmac.

I started working on a manualconditions module that will provide this functionality (without being part of timeconditions - much simpler)

Could this just be done in the Time Conditions module?

(Forgive me--I'm new to FreePBX.)

Simply by, in the current "Time Conditions" module, setting an option for manual or time condition switching--in other words, what triggers the condition.

  • engine_version changed.
  • svn_rev changed.

This should not be part of timeconditions. It should be its own 'feature code.' There are a lot of good reasons to keep them apart, I won't go into them here.
