Add CID name prefix to Trunks and/or Inbound Routes

Description

This would allow a user to know which trunk or DID an incoming call was being received from. (Example: An answering service that assigns each customer their own phone number could use it to identify each customer's DID (in Inbound Routes) or Zap trunk (in Trunks) by entering each customer's name as CID name prefixes.)

You could do with this a ring group or queue already...

Agreed, more appropriate in ring groups - it's more versatile if you have multiple lines that reach the same department. Including this would also complicate CID prefix in ring groups/queues: do we add both? drop one? etc.

Why can't we have both ? Surely you'd be better asking for comments / discussion than just closing issues off 'cos you personally don't agree?

I would personally like to see this, although I would prefer a numeric prefix...same thing I guess?

wozto1s, you're right, that was premature of me. I think I looked at too many tickets last night..

If this is to be implemented, it should have both CID name and CID number prefix as described in #164 (now marked as dupe).

The complication will be figuring out which trunk a call is actually from. If we create individual contexts for each trunk (ie, from-trunk-1), can they set the cid prefixes and then transfer control to from-trunk, without breaking inbound routing?

#4320 (2.3)
Adds CID prefix to inbound routes. Not ot trunk. Deleting this ticket since the patch no longer will work on trunks given the changes that have been made to trunks.
