Realtime config backend

Description

It seems that the MySQL interconnect via php/agi is working pretty good... Why not store all but what asterisk has to have in the DB.

This would cut down on the server restarts/reloads needed and allow realtime changes and reporting... as well as cut out the need for apache to run as asterisk as it just uses php to select from the db for vmail/ext, etc...

Base macros + sql realtime via php seems much cleaner...

  • summary changed from Realtime configuration via MySQL to Realtime config backend.

All that is needed to support realtime is to make another copy of the retrieve scripts that write out to the asterisk realtime database, instead of the .conf files.

It has never been the intention of freepbx to support editing directly from the realtime database. Many changes to a configuration take several minutes (for example, adding an inbound route, changing an IVR for it, and creating a new ring group). During the time an admin is making these changes, parts of the system would be misconfigured, meaning callers may get disconnected or put into an IVR that goes nowhere. For this reason, no matter what backend you're using, we will stick with the "Click here to apply changes" modus operandi on the web interface.

The realtime config backend will simply take all the relevant stuff out of the freepbx database, and copy it to the realtime database in the appropraite format.
