Description (Last modified by gregmac)

Hey guys,

Could you add a MAC Address field to the database and
device configuration screen? This would make it must
simpler to create auto-provision scripts for various
phone types.

Thanks

second that. could you guys also add an IMSI field? that
would allow freepbx to recognize individual users by cell phone.

that is the first thing I did with my installation was add a MAC address field on the device and in the database.

I am planning on making a script to write the snom360 conf files straight from the database.

the more I use the new user/device format the more I hate/loath it :-)

From #1550

Currently, the SIP/IAX2 Device ID fields when setting up a Device (or extension) only accept numeric characters. This is fine for Extension mode, where its combined in a single entry. However, in Device and User mode, the SIP/IAX2 Device ID should be modified to allow hexadecimal characters. This is to enable users to configure MAC Addresses as Device IDs.
