CDR with mysql and asterisk 1.6

Reported by: pnlarsson Assigned to: pnlarsson
Priority: minor Milestone: 2.4
Component: Asterisk Configuration Version: 2.4-branch
Keywords: Cc:
Confirmation: Confirmed SVN Revision (if applicable):
Backend Engine: Asterisk 1.6 Backend Engine Version:

Description

To make cdr to be inserted into the asteriskcdrdb the following changes needs to be done to cdr_mysql.conf:

[global]
hostname = localhost
dbname=asteriskcdrdb
password = amp109
user = asteriskuser
;port=3306
sock=/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

[aliases]
start=calldate

The tricky one is the sock argument (it depends on the dist), we should be able to handle the aliases stuff.

I have sent an email to asterisk-dev about that - it smells like a bug... http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2008-March/032301.html

Thanks to rickross for testing cdr's...

Change History

  • status changed from new to closed.
  • resolution set to fixed.

This issues has been fixed in the latest asterisk-addons (both 1.6 and trunk):

The socket issue: http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=12580

And the calldate: http://svn.digium.com/view/asterisk-addons?view=rev&rev=559

So now there is no more trouble and we don't have to change anything... Tested in 1.6 and trunk.
