VmX Locator is disabled in ARI - even though its enabled for the extension.

2.3 beta2.1 - I have enabled the VmX Locator for several extensions in FreePBX, but when I login to ARI and try to edit the VmX settings I get this error:

Your Premium VmX Locator service has been disabled

This is a bit troubling as it was the reason I wanted 2.3 ;)

hmm - I just went in and tried it, works fine - but make sure you don't have a mix up of old ARI modules with new ones - the old ones currently get left around (see the CHANGES log, I think I mentioned something there). Within ARI, there should be a left menu choice for VmX and if enabled you get there fine, if disabled, the menu appears to disappear.

VmX is enabled in freepbx, all my modules are up to date as of right now, I installed beta2 from source, and all changes are applied. The menu is on the left in ARI.

Even went so far as to delete user, apply changes and recreate user apply changes again, closed all browsers and re-opened/refreshed ;) - do I need to delete tmp files?

at the cli, please type 'database show ampuser/575/vmx' and the paste it here (in a code block { { { } } } ), after making sure that it is enabled and the extension has voicemail set, and you are still getting that error.

The following is a temporary workaround which effectively will return the beta1 version of ARI until the bug can be resolved. Assumes /usr/src/freepbx-2.3.0beta1 and /usr/src/freepbx-2.3.0beta2 for your tarball install directories (pull them if need be): 

mv /var/www/html/recordings /var/www/html/recordings-b2
cp -r /usr/src/freepbx-2.3.0beta1/amp_conf/htdocs/recordings /var/www/html/
cp /var/www/html/recordings-b2/includes/common.php /var/www/html/recordings/includes/
chown asterisk:asterisk -R /var/www/html/recordings
