Module Update through squid non-transparent proxy

Description

I have a squid proxy which is running in non-transparent mode with users requiring authentication to pass traffic out to the web. I have the ability to exclude certain sites from requiring authentication i.e. windowsupdate.microsoft.com, and would like to do the same for FreePBX. Unfortunatly, I cannot determine a definitive list of sites that the module update is attempting to connect to so therefore I can't exclude them.

I know that there has been some back and forth in terms of changes to the update module to allow non-transparent proxy updates but I can't find anything diffinitive. I am running Freepbx 2.2 under Trixbox 2.2.
