Description

SLA (Shared Line Appearance) maps incoming trunk lines to buttons on a phone and shows status like a traditional KSU phone system. This is not the same as BLF (busy lamp field) which maps local extensions to buttons on a phone and shows status.

Digium has stated that they have re-written the current non functional SLA in 1.4.0 and that it is now mostly feature complete and will be included in the soon to be released v1.4.1. It can be downloaded and tested in the current 1.4 branch.

SLA in v1.4.1 apparently supports any incoming trunk type to SIP phones that have SLA support.

  • version deleted.

and as soon as 1.4 gets stable enough along with this feature, we will get freepbx working on 1.4 and find out how best to integrate SLA. (And I hope they succeed although won't hold my breath). There are a lot of people who want SLA in one form or another.
