freePBX not writing extensions correctly to extensions_additional.conf

Description

Hi,

Running freePBX 2.2.0. Everything is working great except that when I apply changes under extensions, it rewrites the extensions_additional.conf with nothing but:

[from-internal-additional] include => from-internal-additional-custom exten => h,1,Hangup

; end of [from-internal-additional]

I checked the SQL database table "users" and it has my entries listed. So why isn't it being written to extensions_additional.conf? Is this the right table to write to extensions_additional?

I checked the permissions to the file and it is set to 777. I also ran a ./retrieve.conf under /var/lib/asterisk/bin and everything checked out fine. As a workaround, I have been manually adding extensions to extensions_custom.conf.

Any help much appreciated :-D

Check bug #1610. freePBX doesn't work with Asterisk 1.4 at present.

2.2.0 RC3 works fine with Asterisk 1.4. So why doesnt 2.2.0 final?

#1610 should give you the info you need for freePBX to generate the files. freePBX will probably work with * 1.4, but it's not stated as compatible just yet.

Ah, one of my co-workers fixed it! Add the following: line 185 in: /var/www/htdocs/admin/functions_inc.php

Change: $response = $astman->send_request('Command', array('Command'=>'show version')); To: $response = $astman->send_request('Command', array('Command'=>'core show version'));

Remember if you are running 2.2.0 with Asterisk 1.4, you must manually create the additional.conf files.

Dupe of #1610
