ampinstall or imstall_amp? Have a look in /etc/amportal.conf for

AMPDBNAME=asterisk
AMPENGINE=asterisk

Do you have them and what version of Asterisk are you running?

Both enties exist in /etc/amportal.conf and yes you are right it is ./install_amp...my slipup. I´m running 1.4.0 released version.

  • priority changed from major to minor.
  • summary changed from retrieve_conf with get_version error to retrieve_conf with get_version error - Asterisk 1.4.

I don't think freePBX is fully Asterisk 1.4 compatible yet, but check with a dev in the IRC channel. I beleive this is planned for sometime in the future.

Actually changeset #3436 is the start of the support. I think the engine name has changed to asterisk14. You could try getting the lastest SVN of 2.2 and give it a go.

Asterisk 1.4.0 official release with Freepbx 2.2.rc3 seems to work fine after making a minor change in the freepbx package; then rerun the install.

OK that seems to work pretty well...only comment: it´s "functions.inc.php" and not "functions_inc.php". Otherwise with this simple patch the 1.4 Asterisk and RC3 installations runs smoothly! Thanks!

  • version changed from 2.2rc3 to SVN-HEAD.
  • milestone set to 2.3.

1.4 isn't going to be supported in 2.2, but it will be in 2.3. However, 1.4.0 is _significantly_ broken, and isn't recommended for use. I'll move this into 2.3 and see if I can stick it into svn this week.
