Freepbx - Asterisk version compatability

mattmann72's picture

So I cannot find on this website where it says what versions of asterisk are supported by freepbx 2.4.0. Where is this information?

Also what versions of what dependensies are required to run freepbx. I am not using a regular distribution but I cannot find this information.

Thanks,

Matt

From others had reported FreePBX 2.4 works with asterisk: 1.2 and 1.4.
There are some posts about problems with 1.6..

1.2 and 1.4 are supported,

1.2 and 1.4 are supported, and we are trying to support 1.6 which is still in Beta. That means that we are receptive to 1.6 issues and will try and get them resolved. You can easily switch between any version of Asterisk by simply rebuilding and installing the version (going forward or back) and then just hit the "Apply Configuration" bar and FreePBX will detect the version and generate the appropriate configuration based on the current version running.
